My Philosophy: To offer clients an option to a healthier life stye through bodywork. Educate clients on the benefits that reflexology and aromatherapy provide. Giving back to the community through volunteering at local Health Fairs and other naturopath educational events. Uphold the ABMP Code of Ethics, protect client privacy, provide a clean and safe working environment and 100% customer satisfaction.
Why I do what I do: The benefits of reflexology and aromatherapy clients receive through the natural healing process can make a difference in their healing process from working out, surgery, lowering stress and assist with a better nights sleep.
A little bit about me: My appreciation for bodywork and aromatherapy was recognized at age of 19 when I gave a friend a back and neck massage after a vigorous workout. My friend exclaimed “I didn’t know you studied massage therapy, thanks, that was fantastic!”
In September 1997 I enrolled in and completed an 12 - week Introduction to Massage Therapy course at the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District Community Classes and the Study of the Muscular Skeletal, Anatomy & Physiology were also part of the curriculum along with actual hands on practical application in the classroom.
In September 2004 I enrolled in and completed the 9-month Part-Time Evening Massage Therapy program at the Massage Arts Center of Philadelphia. Study of the Muscular Skeletal System, Anatomy and Physiology, Reflexology and Aromatherapy. In addition to courses at MACP, I completed my Associates of Science in Business Management (June 2010) with concentrations from Peirce College Philadelphia, PA. In June 2013, I completed my Bachelors of Science in Entrepreneurship & Small Business also from Peirce College.
I began a my practice as a Mobile Massage Practitioner in 2008 until to 2014. The services included visiting clients in their residence, Nursing Homes, participating in Community Health Fairs, the Philadelphia Broad Street Run, Chair Massage at local Farmers Markets and Corporate Chair Massage for Employee Appreciation Days.
Serving the community allowed me to offer Complimentary Private Chair Massage and Reflexology to Seniors in nursing homes (Brinton Manor, Simpson House and Fair Acres). Other services include Spa Parties, Gift Certificates, Doula, working with dancers and musicians and athlete’s.
Using 100% Organic Massage Oils, Lotions and Aromatherapy Oils offers my clients the best in the industry. Through the use of top of the line products came a demand from clients for the products I use during massage sessions. I developed and created a line of Aromatherapy Gift Baskets and Handmade Aromatherapy Pillows and Satchels for purchase.
As a practitioner, I use reflexology to assist clients in healing naturally from the affects of daily stress, depression or eliminate toxins from the body. Trigger points located in the Ears, Hands and Feet directly relate to organs in the body. Reflexology, coupled with Aromatherapy can assist in pain management if you suffer from arthritis and helps to lesson inflammation in the joints. For example, Essential Oil of Eucalyptus works as an anti-inflammatory, Peppermint brings about energy and Lavender relaxation.
Reflexology and Aromatherapy Can Help Bring Balance to Your Life!
